We’re so close to ending conversion therapy in Utah

Nothing kills more 10-19 year olds in Utah than suicide. For those who have been forced to undergo conversion therapy, that suicide rate is even higher. But we have a chance to stop it.

LGBTQ youth and young adults are particularly vulnerable to suicidal thoughts. And a study has found that “attempts to change sexual orientation during adolescence were associated with elevated young adult depressive symptoms, and suicidal behavior, and with lower levels of young adult life satisfaction, social support and socioeconomic status.”
